You talk to an independent tree removal provider from our network. Not a Applesons Tree Service crew, because Applesons Tree Service has none. The provider is a separate local business that quotes, schedules, and performs the work.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will usually ask:

• Where is the tree, and how close is it to the house, wires, or a fence?
• What is wrong with it: dead, leaning, split, or storm-damaged?
• Has anything already been hit?
• Is there access for equipment?

Photos speed this up. If it is urgent, say so at the start. Many providers can respond quickly to emergencies, but availability varies.

What to Ask a Provider

Use this list. Write down the answers.

• Are you licensed and insured for tree work? Can I see proof?
• Will you inspect the tree before quoting?
• Is the quote written, and what does it include?
• Is stump grinding included, or priced separately?
• Who handles cleanup and debris?
• How will you protect the roof, lawn, and drainage lines?

Prices vary by tree size, access, and risk. Get the numbers in writing before work begins.

Where You Can Help

Know your limits. You can clear vehicles, move patio furniture, and mark the access path. You can photograph the damage. Leave cutting, climbing, and anything near power lines to trained providers with the right equipment.

You Are in Control

A referral is not a contract. You can compare quotes, ask follow-up questions, and decline. Nothing is owed to Applesons Tree Service for asking. The agreement is between you and the provider.
